Lucy - JRT, Bitch (1 Year)

This lovely little lady has only just come in to rescue so we are still getting to know her. Because we do not know her history we cannot rehome her with a family with young children. We are assessing her with other dogs at the moment but we know so far that she does bark at other dogs. We do not know how she gets on with cats. As we get to know more about her we will update this page

Lucy is a little live wire to walk..she loves sniffing in all the hedges & holes, but is gentle taking treats & likes a cuddle & to climb around your shoulders like a warm scarf!!

Lucy the cutie pie (plus some pics to prove my point lol)
Lucy is a lovely little dog who is full of energy and loves it when you go for a bit of a chase with her. She is very playful but also loves a good cuddle. Once you sit on a bench she makes a bee line for the lap and just snuggles up to you, making sure she is as close as possible. She doesn't seem to be too keen on some of the other dogs at the kennels and growls at them when she sees them in the field. However, she is still young and in a completely new environment so I am sure it will not be a difficult issue to overcome with proper socialisation with other dogs.

LUCY
Lucy is a very small dog which may not be obvious from her photos. She is so small I didn't realise she was a Jack Russell until told. She is full of energy so I take her out on an extendable lead so she can have a bit of a run around. She needs to learn some commands, but shows no sign of aggression at all when being picked up or having collars or coats fitted. I found she enjoyed being picked up and snuggling against my shoulder. And she certainly enjoys to jump.
