Abbi (Formerly Bambi) - Crossbreed, Bitch (2 Years)

Post  F on Wed Nov 23, 2011 2:28 pm

Bambi is a very friendly girl who has come to us from the Pound, therefore we have no history on her.

She loves people so we would like her to go somewhere where she won't be left on her own for long periods of time.

She does need some training on the lead as she seems to not have been walked very much, but should pick it up quickly with the correct and consistent handling.

Post  kimmal on Fri Nov 25, 2011 5:55 pm

A very lovable little girl...tryin to adapt to kennel life and doing very well.....got over the panic period and looks forward to just someone taking her out or giving her lots of cuddles...this little girl has been loved alot somewhere in her short life and its sad that shes lost that.....At the first sign of a cuddle she flops onto her back and says tickle belly please.....with such a soft expression this dog will melt the hearts of anyone looking for a dog to love x:D

Bambi baby

Post  Angela on Sun Nov 27, 2011 6:48 pm

I am sure that we do not need to post much before Bamby will be rehomed. She is so young, playfull and affectionate, you just have to lover her straight away.
Just come and have a look and you will know exactly what I mean.

I walked her today and she bouncing around me like a foal or a fawn.

I am sure she will learn a lot. Great chance for Families who want a young dog.

It doesn't take much to instantly fall in love with Bambi, all you have to do is look into her sad eyes and you're gone.

Bambi is such a loving little girl, and like most staffs, craves human attention. When I put my hands through the bars of her cage, she pushes her nose into my hands and hooks her paws over my wrist. It is moments like these that really tug at you heart.

If only people could see the dogs like the staff and volunteers do, I'm sure they would all have that specially home they deserve. Bambi is so loving and affectionate it's hard to believe she hasn't been snapped up by now.

Bambi has plenty of love to give, and she responds well to training. She is good on the lead, and I have never had any problems when walking her. I love you

I got to walk this gorgeous girl on my first day of helping & she's definitely one of the reasons I'll be going back. I was told she can be very excited when she comes out her kennel but wouldn't anyone be when they've been stuck inside. As soon as we started walking she calmed down & walked lovely. This little lady just needs a loving home & family to call her own.

Walked Bambi for the first time in ages today... Man I'd forgotten how lovely she is. Slightly mischievous, true, but in a sweet way. Obeys commands well, and goes out of her way to please. She even helped me find a pencil I'd dropped in the playpen! Very Happy

Oh it was all in one piece...but it was slightly chewed. Very Happy

A lovely girl Bambi - I especially like the way as soon as you start petting her she plops over and begs for a belly rub. And who could resist that?

Walked this little angel again today, she does get excited when she comes out her kennel but she soon settles into her walk & we had some fun in the playpen. She's adorable & in serious need of a loving family.

My angel, my sweetheart, this girl has my heart. She has calmed down alot recently and is now a dream to walk, she loves a belly rub and cuddles but also loves to let loose in the playpen. Love her so much

Loves a cuddle

Post  annie on Mon Mar 12, 2012 11:18 pm

While walking Bambi today we stopped at the bottom seat for a cuddle. We sat watching the traffic and I put my arms round her for a little while. When I got up to continue the walk she resisted and wanted to stay on the seat. So I sat down again and continued the cuddle. She really will make a great companion for someone.

I cant help it, I do love this girl. She is so sweet and loving. She loves her walks and has calmed down so much since I first walked her. She is amazing in the playpen, she will give anyone a good workout but shes always good for me and never has given me any trouble. She is so intelligent and keen to please. And after all that exercise loves nothing more than a good cuddle, kiss (slopy lick) and a belly rub. Shes everything you could ever want in a dog. Please dont be put off by breed, give her a chance, you won't regret it!!!!!!
