Flame - Greyhound, Dog (5 Years)

Post  F on Fri Feb 17, 2012 9:37 am

Flame is a lovely docile boy who has come to us due to a change in his owner's circumstances.

Flame has shown us that he is a patient and affectionate boy who walks well on the lead. He is quiet, affectionate and an all around beautiful boy. He has shown no aggression towards other dogs.

What a stunner, just have a look!

Flame is an absolutely gorgeous dog with a very quiet, polite and almost sad demeanour. He walked well and was not very interested in playing ball. He did enjoy a good sniff, though. What more can I say, I fell in love the first moment I saw him. I love you I love you I love you

This is Flame, a gorgeous gentle giant, doesn't seem bothered by other dogs passing, just seems happy doing his own thing, this is my first meeting with him, to me he seems quiet, gentle, enjoys a quiet life and just loves a cuddle, gorgeous fella x

Flame

Post  JeanW on Mon Feb 27, 2012 10:10 pm

I walked Flame today and what a wonderful dog he is. He is a handsome gentle boy with beautiful eyes, he walked calmly around the fields gently leaning against me to have his ears stroked along the way. He is so quiet in his kennel and also very clean. Greyhounds make wonderful pets and i do hope Flame finds a new home very soon.

I walked Flame again on Saturday and he just confirmed my first impression of him. He is such a lovely, gentle dog. He was very quiet in his kennel exactly as Jean said. He let me put his collar on and walked very well on the lead. No pulling, just quietly walking by my side. Whilst he is certainly a very calm and gentle dog I feel there is also an element of sadness and resignation in him about his situation. I really hope that somebody will soon recognise that Flame would make an absolutely fabulous addition to their family and take him away from the kennels and allow Flame to blossom and put a doggie smile on his face. pup pup pup

Flame is so gentle, enjoys alot of stroking, loving, kisses. For the first time yesterday he got excited at coming out of kennel for his walk, tail came out from tucked under his bum,he even walked the lenghth of the lead ,Very Happy hope this means he dont feel so down and depressed because hes a big dog and its a tight squeeze in that bed for both of us (and hes crafty helps him self to my treats out of pocket, that long face fits just nicely)then looks up for a kiss ,i just smile at him an yer the kisses given good look handsome man xxx
