Winston - English Bull Terrier, Dog (1 year)

Post  F on Thu Jun 30, 2011 10:12 am

Winston is a darling! He was brought to us when he was seized by police, as his owner threatened to throw him in a river.

Despite all of this, Winston is a loving, quiet boy. He loves to play ball and knows some basic obedience, although he would benefit from some further training due to his young age.

Winston would like a home where there are no young children and owners that understand that this breed is more than just a symbol of strength, but an affectionate and loyal companion.

Met Winston on Thursday a lovely waggy behind! & a great personality always smiling & loves a good cuddle. A lovely boy who deserves somebody to love him & look after him properly after all he's been through

Winston

What a week for winston, unfortunately he had to come back from his forever home as he didn't get on with the other male dog in the house. So winston really needs to be the only dog in any new family. His owners were very upset to return him and stressed that at no time was winston aggressive toward them or their children. In fact they thought he was a wonderful dog. Today Richard and Matt have had Winston out and he has been very well behaved is learning to play ball and walks well on the lead. He loves attention and being with people and if given another opportunity I am sure he will make someone who knows about his particular breed a wonderful companion.

We adopted Winston and he is loving his new home!

Post  WinstonGreen on Sat Oct 29, 2011 7:07 pm

Hi

We adopted Winston two months ago and he is loving his new home and we love him to bits! :-)

We walk him two miles every evening and he gets a good long walk on Sundays in the forest.

Winston has fit into our family perfectly, he is developing well and he is undergoing a training and obedience program and responding with outstanding results!

We couldn't be without our Winst'

I'll send some pics soon.

Thanks for everything.

Brilliant news about Winston. He was a firm favourite in the kennels. Sounds like he's turning into a model citizen with his training and his loving forever home. Well done to you all!

I am so pleased that it worked out for this boy, I loved him a lot. I knew that with some time and patience he would become a wonderful dog and thank you so much for giving it to him Smile

Hope to see you (and Winston!) again soon!
